The location was ideal, allowing easy walks to Asakusa, Ueno Park, and nearby stations. The clean showers and spacious common area added to the relaxing experience, though the thin walls meant occasional noise. Luggage storage was a plus, and overall, it provided good value for money amidst the city's exploration.

While the bunk beds are basic and a bit creaky, the area is quiet, and there are handy convenience stores nearby. The staff is friendly, but be ready for disrupted sleep if you're sensitive to noise. It's a decent budget option if you're okay with the essentials.

The noise in this place was unbearable! The walls are paper-thin, so I woke up every hour from alarms and loud chatting. I felt completely drained because I couldn't get any quality sleep at all—definitely not worth the cheap price!

I got great value for my money with a clean and functional room.
Breakfast selection could use more variety and options.

We had a great stay at Lodging Tokyo Ueno. the location is perfect, just a 15-minute walk from Ueno station, which makes accessing public transport super easy. Although the rooms were a bit tight and the toilets limited, the cleanliness and affordability made our trip enjoyable. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place!

Close to attractions like temples and parks. Great for my daily pilgrimage to the holy sites. Maybe I'll find enlightenment. or just a good Instagram photo.
Oh, how I loved smelling other people's footsteps and hearing their every move. Such a delightful way to have a restful night's sleep.

We had a pleasant stay at Lodging Tokyo Ueno. the hostel is bigger and more spacious than their other branch in Uguisudani. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are clean. the staff are very friendly and quickly solved a problem we had with our mattress. the location is great, in a quiet area with food and supermarkets nearby. it's within walking distance of Asakusa and close to train and bus stations. For the price, it is definitely worth staying. Cons: Was all great! 😊.
